Presbyterian Women's Association

All women who are a part of Saint James Presbyterian Church are also a part of Presbyterian Women. We are connected to Presbyterian Women of Presbytery of the Norethwest Coast and to the Synod of Alaska and Northwest. Our group  offers Bible study, fellowship, and an opportunity to serve our community. We hope to see you there.





Next Meeting - Tuesday, September 27

 10:30 am Bible Study. 2016-2017 Horizons study: Who is Jesus? What a Difference a Lens Makes. This year's study looks at Jesus through the writings of the four Gospels, Paul, Peter, other faiths, and contemporary culture.

Lesson 1- According to Mark. Mark 1-8;Key scripture Mark 8:27-33.

12:00 pm Potluck Salad Luncheon



Fellowship Luncheons

The pot luck salad luncheons are held the last Tuesday of each month at 12:00pm in the Horizon Room. Frequently we have guest speakers from local non-profit organizations, businesses, and other areas of interest.

Arts and Crafts Faire - Time to Register for the 2016 Faire!

The Arts and Crafts Faire is held each year on the first Saturday of November. Local artists and crafters sell a variety of items perfect for holiday gifts.The women of St. James sell their favorite holiday baked goods for you to enjoy in our Horizon Room overlooking Bellingham Bay or to take home. Once again we will have a beautiful handmade quilt for raffle. This year we are also having a Vendor Showcase Raffle. Please contact the church office (733-1325) if you would like to rent a table for your handmade items.



St. James Women use the proceeds from the Arts and Crafts Faire and Rummage Sale to benefit local charities for women and children. In 2015 we supported the YWCA, the Opportunity Council, Women’s Care Shelter, Lydia Place, Bellingham Childcare and Learning Center, Interfaith Coalition, Maple Alley Inn, and Agape House.
