Prayer Group
Since 1977, the Saint James Church Prayer Group has met weekly to pray for the needs of the congregation and the community. We pray for as many of the needs of the congregation and community as we are aware of. Why do we do it? We have a deep compassion for those who are going through difficult times and desire to support them through intercessory prayer each week. This is also an opportunity to pray for peace and understanding in our world.
Each week the prayer group focuses on a short passage of scripture. By focusing on the power of the scripture passage, members of the prayer group open themselves to God's guidance as they pray and meditate. The Saint James Prayer Group meets on Tuesday mornings at 8:00AM. It is a powerful and wholesome way to begin the day. Anyone is welcome to attend.
