Opportunities in Christian Education
Many opportunities exist for you and your entire family to grow spiritually and participate in our Christian Education programs.
Adult Sunday School
Adults of all ages who enjoy reading scripture and applying what they learn to the unique problems of today's world are welcome to attend
our Sunday morning adult bible study at 9:00 AM. You can learn more about the Adult Sunday School program here.
Middle & High School Youth
Youth Leader Liz Turner leads youth meetings which alternate every other week with Sunday School classes. Meetings include games, discussions, fun outings, and mission projects.
Multi-Age Sunday School
Second through Fifth grade students meet during worship service on Sundays in the Fireplace Room on the lower floor.
Preschool – Early Elementary
Curriculum for children in preschool through early elementary (three years old through the first grade) takes place during worship service on Sundays at 10:45 AM
in the Preschool Room, lower floor.
Nursery
For infants through children two-years old, our Nursury is available on Sundays, through worship service, from 10:00AM to Noon, on the lower floor.
Presbyterian Women's Study & Luncheon
All women who are a part of Saint James Presbyterian Church are also a part of Presbyterian Women. This group is part bible study and part fellowship. Meetings are
on the last Tuesday of each month. The bible study begins at 10:30AM and a fellowship luncheon follows at 12:00 Noon. This year's Bible Study is entitled, "Hearing Gods

Reverend Tamalyn Kralman, Minister of Education
Our Christian Education Minister, the Rev. Tamalyn L. Kralman, joined the staff of Saint James Presbyterian in May of 2007. A lifelong advocate for and participant and leader in church, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School, her love of educational opportunities in the church began early. An ordained pastor in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) she did her undergraduate work at Northwest Christian College and the University of Oregon. She received a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Claremont School of Theology, completing extra coursework for ordination. She has served churches in Washington, Oregon, Montana, and California. Pastor Tam is married to the Rev. Gary A. Shoemaker, pastor of First Christian Church. They are the parents of two grown children, son Zach and daughter Brett. Brett, Zach, and his wife Chelsea live with Tam and Gary, along with 3 dogs and 2 cats. In addition to spending time with her family (2 and 4 legged members), Tam enjoys reading, writing, camping, and, of course, more reading!
